‘More 22,500 buildings to be built in edu institutions’

Staff Correspondent: Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid said some 10,500 new buildings have been built in schools, colleges and madrasas across the country till now since 2009 among which construction work of 2,000 buildings is underway. More 22,500 buildings will be built in educational institutions across the country.

The minister made the disclosure while addressing a view exchange meeting with field-level engineers at the auditorium of International Mother Language Institute in the capital on Saturday.

The Education Engineering Department (EED) organised the meeting with an aim to implement Annual Development Programme (ADP) for fiscal year 2017-18.
