Mother-daughter killed in Nilphamari road accident

Nilphamari Correspondent: A mother and her one and half year old daughter were killed as a trolley hit them on Tuesday noon.

The accident happened around 2.15pm in Kellabari Bazar area of Kishoreganj-Rangpur Road.

The deceased were identified as Rasheda Begum (40), wife of Hasan Mamun at Uttar Durakoti village of Nilphamari district, and her daughter Asheka Akhtar.

According to witnesses, a sand-laden trolley hit their van while they were returning home, leaving them dead on the spot.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kishoreganj Thana Bazlur Rashid said police seized the trolley.
