Motorcycle stolen after hacking security guard

Staff Correspondent: Miscreants stole a motorcycle from a house of Maniknagar of the capital’s Mugda area after hacking security guard and caretaker of the building early Friday.

The injured were known as security guard Mizan, 55, and caretaker Abdul Gani, 30.

They both were admitted to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH).

Enamul Haque, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Mugda Police Station, confirmed the news to risingbd.

He said, “Injury marks of sharp weapons were found on bodies of the injured.”

Police said three to four miscreants entered the house no. 82/83 named Nur Fatema of Maniknagar area. Security guard Mizan blocked them as they tried to steal a motorcycle. Miscreants hacked on his head and different parts of his body indiscriminately. Hearing screaming, caretaker Abdul Gani came forward to save him. But the miscreants hacked him too and fled the scene with a motorcycle from the ground floor, after leaving them injured.

Several incidents of snatching motorcycle were happened at different parts of the capital including Khilgaon and Darus Salam.
