Murder case filed against six over Tashfia death

Staff Correspondent, Chattogram: Mohammad Amin, father of Tashfia Amin who was found dead on the concrete block at Patenga sea beach in the port city yesterday morning, filed a murder case against Tashfia’s friend Adnan Mirza and five others over the death of his daughter.
The case was filed with Patenga police station on Thursday noon.
Police did not disclose the names of five other accused.
Police said they have already launched a drive to arrest the accused.
Assistant Commissioner of Police (Karnaphuli Zone) of Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) Jahedul Islam, who is investigating the case, confirmed the filing of the case.
Police recovered the body of Tashfia from the north side of no 18 bridge of the Patenga sea beach yesterday morning.
Tashfia was a class nine student of Sunshine Grammar School of Chattogram port city.
