Mustafiz gets wicket in SL tour match

Sport Desk: Bangladesh pace sensation Mustafizur Rahman has got a wicket in the second day of the two-day tour match between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka Cricket President's XI at De Zoysa Stadium, Moratuwa on Friday.

Earlier on Thursday, the hosts won the toss and sent the visitors in to bat amid forecasts of scattered showers, which failed to materialise.

Bangladesh managed to score 391 runs for seven wickets with Tamim's century and fifties from Liton Das and Muminul Haque.

Tamim Iqbal, the Bangladeshi opener, smashed 136 in 182 balls to on the first day of the warm-up match.

Tamim hit nine fours and seven sixes before retiring in the two-day match at the Moratuwa stadium, just outside the capital Colombo, ahead of their Test series in Galle next week.

Mominul Haque, coming in at No. 3, also found form, scoring 73 with ten boundaries before retiring.

Chamika Karunaratne, the right-arm medium-pacer, took 3 for 61, while Lahiru Samarakoon and Lasith Ambuldeniya claimed one wicket apiece.

Bangladesh will face Sri Lanka in two Tests, starting Tuesday, before playing three One-Day Internationals and two Twenty-20 Internationals later this month.
