Mustafizur confident of Sri Lanka tour

Sport Correspondent: Bangladesh pace bowling sensation Mustafizur Rahman is confident of returning back to international cricket in upcoming Sri Lanka tour.

The 21-year right arm pacer missed the one-off Test in India following injury but played two first class matches for Prime Bank South Zone in ongoing Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL) where he bowled 48 overs and took 4 wickets.

Mustafizur said, playing in BCL helped him getting back 'lost' confidence and he is all set to return to the national side.

"I am confident of playing in Sri Lanka series. The rest will be decided by the selectors, physio and team management. Hope I'll be able to play in Sri Lanka series," Mustafizur told risingbd.com over phone from his home in Satkhira.

However, the pacer will not play in the fourth round of BCL as team management advised him to rest until the camp for Sri Lanka series starts on February 24.
