National Eidgah ready for Eid congregation

Staff Correspondent: Only two days is left for Eid-ul-Azha, one of the largest religious festivals for Muslims.

All preparations have already been completed to hold the main jamaat at National Eidgah in the capital Dhaka.

More than one lakh Muslim devotees, including the President, Cabinet members, politicians, and diplomats are expected to join the congregation.

The main jamaat will be held at 8:00am.

The sheds for the Eid congregation have already been made by using 50,000 bamboos.

Necessary arrangements including waterproof shed, fans, sitting place, toilets and ablution facilities have been set up at the Eidgah for more than one lakh Muslim devotees.

A massive security by law enforcers will be taken in the Eidgah. The total area will be monitored by close circuit cameras (CCTV).
