Secretariat Correspondent: Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed has said that the next general elections will be held in last of December or first of January.
The minister said this while exchanging views with journalists at the Secretariat on Sunday.
Tofail Ahmed said that BNP will face a problem if it does not participate in the national election. We hope that all the political parties will participate in the next election.
Responding to a question, he said that there has been a crisis in rawhide and skin trade. But after the price reduction, hides are being sold. The reason of the crisis is that last year's hides were stored.
In reply to another question, the minister said there is no plan to export rawhides.
