Neo JMB member killed in Kushtia gunfight

Kushtia Correspondent: A neo JMB member named Arman Ali (42) has been killed in a gunfight with police in the district’s Daulatpur upazila.

The gunfight took place early Friday at Bottala of Boalia in the upazila.

Police also recovered a pistol, a magazine and three local weapons from the spot.

Officer-in-Charge of Daulatpur Thana Shah Dara Khan said we have information that a group of miscreants were staying there and a team of police conducted a drive there. Sensing the presence of law enforcers, miscreants opened fire forcing the policemen to back fire that triggered a gunfight.

Bullet-hit Arman Ali was rescued from the spot and he was immediately taken to Daulatpur hospital where the duty doctors declared him dead.
