New salary structure in 42 industrial sectors

Staff Correspondent: State Minister for Labour and Employment Monnujan Sufian has said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has directed to fix a new salary structure in 42 industrial sectors of the country.

She said this at a rally organised on the occasion of May Day at the Secretariat Gate at 11:30am on Wednesday.

The rally was brought out under the theme of day “Build Workers-Owners Unity, Take Oath for Development” that began from Labour Ministry and ended at the Secretariat Gate.

Former Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan said, “The people of the country are daring to protest against the anti-democracy of BNP-Jamaat."

Sramik League President Shukkur Mahmud presided over the meeting and Labor Ministry Secretary Ummul Hashna was also present.
