Newborn rescued from Shishu hospital bathroom

Staff Correspondent: A female newborn baby has been rescued from the common bathroom of Dhaka Shishu Hospital in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar.
The baby was rescued on Tuesday night. Hospital authority filed a general diary with Sher-e-Bangla Nagar police station in this regard.
Sher-e-Bangla Nagar police station Officer-in-charge (OC) Jan-e-Alam confirmed the matter.
A family member of one of patients spotted a newborn child lying on the floor of the bathroom, and informed ward officials. Later, the child was rescued and admitted to the hospital.
