Newly-elected MPs to take oath Jan 3

Senior Correspondent: Members of Parliament (MPs) who are elected in the 11^th parliamentary elections will take their oaths on January 3.

Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu came up with the announcement after participating in a dialogue organised by Bangladesh Secretariat Reporters' Forum (BSRF) at the secretariat's media centre on Tuesday.

Inu said, “Newly-elected lawmakers to the parliament will be sworn in on January 3. Before that, the Election Commission will issue a gazette notification in this regard.”
