No atmosphere for election in country: Fakhrul

Cumilla Correspondent: BNP Secretary-General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has alleged that there is no atmosphere of election in the country.

The BNP secretary-general came up with the allegation while addressing an election rally at Chandina on Wednesday.

He said, “Awami League is going to kill democracy with the current Election Commission. The Election Commission says that level playing field exists for all parties. But it is the truth that there is no level playing field in the country”.

Coordinator of Chandina Upazila unit of 20-party alliance Engineer Mofiz Uddin Bhuiyan presided over the programme.

General-Secretary of the LDP and the candidate of Cumilla-7 constituency Redwan Ahmed  also spoke on the occasion.
