Staff Correspondent: The Supreme Court has upheld a government decision of making merit list after deducting five marks from second time admission seekers in government-run medical colleges and institutions.
An Appellate Division bench headed by acting Chief Justice Md Abdul Wahhab Miah passed the order on Wednesday morning.
Earlier, the High Court (HC) stayed the government decision of making merit list after deducting five marks from second time admission seekers in government-run medical colleges and institutions.
Alongside, the court also issued a rule asking the authority concerned as to why the decision of deducting five marks should not be declared illegal.
