No dialogue until ‘fake’ birthday celebrated: Obaidul

Staff Correspondent: Awami League (AL) General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has said the no dialogue will be held until BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia celebrates ‘fake’ birthday.

The ruling party secretary general said this after placing wreaths at the portrait of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Dhanmondi-32 on Tuesday morning marking the National Morning Day.

Quader further alleged that the BNP chairperson thwarts democratic process by observing ‘fake birthday’ on 15 August.

“By celebrating this birth day, she [Khaleda] is destroying any atmosphere for dialogue. According to her marriage certificate and passport, 15 August is not her birth date,” claimed Quader.
