'No load shedding during Ramadan'

Staff Correspondent: Power secretary Dr Ahmed Kaykaus said that there will not be any load shedding during Iftar, Taraweeh and Sehri.

The government official made the opinion while addressing a discussion at secretariat on Thursday.

Ahmed Kaykaus said, there will not be load shedding. It should be informed earlier, if the authority concerned wants to occur load shedding in any particular areas.

Power distribution organizations will form committee in this regard, he added.

Power cell director general Mohammad Hossain, BPDB Chairman Engineer Khaled Mahmud, Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (BREB) Charman Brigadier General Moin Uddin and other high officials attended the meeting.
