No more missing in Banani fire, Police claim

Senior Correspondent: Police claimed that no more person remains missing in the fire incident of FR Tower in the capital’s Banani.

The injured of the incident are currently undergoing treatment at different hospitals, police officials said.

Mushtaq Ahmed, deputy commissioner (DC) of Gulshan Zone, on Friday noon said, “25 bodies were recovered in the fire incident. Of them, 24 bodies were handed over to their families. However, one body could not be identified immediately. All casualties of the incident were recovered. No more missing report has yet been found. 73 injured are undergoing treatment at different hospitals in the capital.”

A deadly fire broke out at high-rise FR Tower at Banani in Dhaka on Thursday noon. Fire Service managed to douse the blaze at evening after frantic efforts of at least hours.
