No room in AL for controversial leaders: Quader

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has said persons who are controversial will not be included in the process of collecting primary members and renewing activities of member to the party.

He also said any person who is currently holding post in the party would lose it if he/she is found controversial.

The Road Transport and Bridges Minister came up with announcement in a press conference at AL president Sheikh Hasina’s political office in the capital’s Dhanmondi on Wednesday.

Earlier, Obaidul Quader inaugurated book distribution activities for collecting new members.

In reply to a query, he said we have already issued instructions to district level making them aware over controversial persons.
