No threat of terror attack during Eid: IGP

Staff Correspondent: Inspector General of Police (IGP) AKM Shahidul Haque said that there is no possible threat of attacks during the Eid ul-Azha celebration.
The IGP came up with the assertion while replying to a query of newsmen after inauguration a police control room on Dhaka-Tangail highway in Chadra-Trimor area on Wednesday noon.
He said that centering the security issues, sufficient security measures have been taken.
AKM Shahidul Haque said, "We are providing enough security to the home bound passengers and transports. No robbery, snatching, attack of Oggyan Party men have reported yet."
Dhaka Range DIG Shafiqul Islam, Highway police DIG Atikul Islam, Gazipur Police super Mohammad Harun-or-Rashid and others attended the programme.
