Nothing found at 2 militant dens in Ctg

Staff Correspondent: The law enforcers could not detain anyone and found anything from the two suspected militant dens in Akbar Shah and Colonel Haat areas of Chittagong city on Monday.

Police ended their drive in the two houses after two hours long search operation there.

Nazmul Ahsan, additional deputy commissioner of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (West zone), said following a phone call and information from remanded militants, the law enforcers cordoned the houses and conducted the drive in the area.

Similar drive will be continued on the basis of secret information, he added.
