Nur to take charge of Ducsu

Staff Correspondent: The newly elected leaders of Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) will take the charge of the institution officially.

Bangladesh Sadharan Chhatra Odhikar Sangrakkhan Parishad (Indigenous Quota Protection Association) took the decision on Friday.

The Students' Rights Protection Council's convener Hasan Al Mamun made the announcement officially at Dhaka University Madhur Canteen this noon.

A meeting will take place with Ducsu leaders at senate building of Dhaka University around 11:00am on March 23. Newly-elected Ducsu VP Nurul Haq Nur, GS Golam Rabbani will take the charge formally on that day.

A total of 25 leaders of DUCSU and 234 hall union representatives were elected after a gap of 28 years. The last DUCSU election was held in 1990.
