Oath-taking ceremony at 11:00am

Staff Correspondent: The oath-taking ceremony for the newly elected lawmakers is set to hold at 11:00am on Thursday.

Election Commission (EC) Secretary Helal Uddin Ahmed told this to the reporters at Nirbachan Bhaban in the capital’s Agargaon on Wednesday.

He said, “Gazette notifications for 298 newly elected lawmakers have already been published those were sent to the National Parliament Secretary. I heard that candidate-elects will swear in at 11:00am on Thursday.”
