Desk Report: Awami League (AL) General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader, who is undergoing treatment at a Singaporean hospital, now can walk normally.
His video of today’s (Sunday) morning walk was posted on social media platform Facebook by Shaikh Walid Faiej, Public Relations Officer in the roads and bridges ministry’s Bridges Division of Bangladesh Government.
Posting the video, he wrote, “This video was filmed when I came out with sir (Quader) for a morning walk session. Some moments of walking are on the video…”
On the video, however, it is seen that he (Quader) now can walk normally as his health condition has improved further.
Quader has been discharged from Singapore's Mount Elizabeth Hospital after a month of treatment.
But despite being discharged from the hospital, the Awami League general secretary will not return to Bangladesh just yet.
According to several sources close to the minister, Quader will remain in Singapore for a few more days to undergo follow-up care. He was moved to a rented house nearby after his release from hospital in the afternoon. He will receive follow-up treatment there in accordance with doctors' recommendations.
