Octogenarian man killed in Gopalganj road crash

Gopalganj Correspondent: An Octogenarian man was killed at Chapta Bazar area of the district's Kashiani upazila on Thursday morning.

The deceased was identified as Kaleque Kazi, 88, resident of the village.

AKM Ali Nur, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kashiani Police Station, confirmed the news.

He said, "The elderly man was going to Chapta Bazar to take tea in the morning. A speedy bus ran over him while he was crossing road, leaving him dead on the spot."
