One killed in Dhaka 'shootout'

Staff Correspondent: A shootout between police and suspected criminals has left one killed in Doyaganj area of capital’s Jatrabari.
The deceased was identified as Hazrat, 35. He was wanted in eight cases.
Sources said that police conducted a drive in the area to detain Hazrat around 2:00am on Friday. Sensing the presence of police, Hazrat opened fire aiming the law enforcers which triggered the gunfight, leaving Hazrat bullet injured.
Later, the injured was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where duty doctor declared him dead.
Dhaka Medical College Hospital police outpost in-charge SI Bacchu Mia said the body was kept the hospital morgue for autopsy.
