One killed in Gazipur road crash

Staff Correspondent, Gazipur: The driver of a pickup van was killed as it hit a covered-van from the back side on Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway under Gazipur sadar upazila early Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Sohag, 28, son of Abul Kashem at South Abdar village under Sreepur upazila.

Sohag was on way to Gazipur and was carrying hens in the pick-up. He died on the spot after hitting the covered-van in Baniarchar area.
