One killed in bomb blast in Mymensingh

Staff Correspondent, Mymensingh: One has been killed in bomb explosion in a house at Kashor village in Habirbari union under Bhaluka upazila of the district.
The incident took place around 6:00pm on Sunday evening.
The deceased could not be identified immediately.
Tofael Ahammed Bachhu, chairman at the Habirbari union, confirmed the news.
The person killed in the bomb explosion rented a house owned by one Azimuddin of Kashor village three days ago, the chairman said.
The deceased's wife and children have fled the house soon after the incident, he added.
Police have detained the house owner Azimuddin in this connection.
Additional police super Nure Aalm said police have cordoned off the house immediately after the incident. He suspected that there might be more unexploded bombs inside the house.
Bomb disposal units are rushing to the spot from Dhaka, he said.
Police super Sayed Nurul Islam and other high police officials are currently on the spot.
