Operation in Meherpur ends

Meherpur Correspondent: Law enforcers have ended the operation at the two-storey house at Bamondi village under Gangni upazila in the district.
Police found no arms and bullets in the house during the operation but detained two women along with two children for interrogation.
The detainees are identified as Mabia Khatun, 35, of Bhabanipur village in the upazila, and Rajani Khatun, 24, of Daulatpur upazila in Kustia.
Meherpur Police Super Anisur Rahman confirmed the matter to risingbd.com.
He said that few days ago they rented the two-storey building owned by one Mishkat Ali. Later, they started living in the building.
Earlier, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) and police forces cordoned off the house at Bamondi village under Gangni upazila in Meherpur from Saturday morning suspecting it a militant hideout.
