Operation underway at one of Moulvibazar ‘militant dens’

Moulvibazar Correspondent: A team of SWAT is conducting an operation at a suspected militant den in Nasirpur area of Moulvibazar Sadar upazila.

The operation started on Wednesday evening, according to police.

Earlier, four vehicles of SWAT (Special Weapons And Tactics) of police reached the spot around 5:30pm. Later, a bomb disposal unit of SWAT also arrived there by another vehicle.

Meanwhile, militants hurled grenades at police at intervals from another hideout in Borohat area in the upazila. In retaliation, the law enforcers also fired gunshots targeting the den.
