Opposition leader makes courtesy call on President

Staff Correspondent, from Parliament: Opposition Leader in Parliament Begum Rowshan Ershad on Tuesday made a courtesy call on President M Abdul Hamid at the President office at Sangsad Bhaban here.
The President appreciated the constructive role of the opposition in the parliament during the meeting.
The opposition leader congratulated President Hamid for being re-elected as the President of Bangladesh for the second consecutive term.
She wished a sound health of the President as well as his future success in his life.
President Hamid thanked the opposition leader.
Rowshan Ershad led an eight-member delegation of the members of parliament (MPs) belonging to the Jatiya Party, the main opposition in the 10th Jatiya Sangsad.
