Over 100 shops gutted in fire

Staff Correspondent, Tangail: Over 100 shops of Kortia Bazar under Tangail sadar upazila have been gutted in a fire.
The fire broke out around 9.00am on Tuesday. The shop owners claimed that clothes worth Tk one crore has been damaged in the fire.
Tangail Fire Service and Civil Defence Station master Md Kofil Uddin said on information five units of fire service department rushed to spot and doused the fire around 9.30am.
The cause of the fire could not be known immediately, he also said.
