PEC, Ebtedayee exams begin

Staff Correspondent: Primary Education Completion (PEC) and Ebtedayee examinations-2018 started on Sunday morning.

The examinations started at 10:30am which will continue till 1:00pm. Disabled students will also be granted 30 extra minutes for their examinations.

The number of examinees is 2,777,270. Of the total PSC examinees, 1,278,000 are male and 1,498,000 female students.

The ministry has taken a 'zero tolerance' policy against any kinds of irregularities during the examinations. This time, there will be no MCQ type question in the examinations.

PEC examination system was introduced in 2009 while Ebtedayee examination system in 2010 with a view to ensure quality education.
