PM mourns death of AL leader Nurul Alam Chy

Desk Report: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Chattogram North District Awami League (AL) President and former member of parliament Nurul Alam Chowdhury.

In a condolence message, the prime minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.

Chowdhury, also a valiant freedom fighter, died at a Chattogram hospital this morning at the age of 75.

AL General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader, in a separate message, also mourned the death of Nurul Alam Chowdhury._BSS.
