PM pays respect to Bangabandhu at Tungipara

Badal Saha, from Tungipara: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina paid tribute to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Tungipara on Saturday morning.

The Primer paid rich tributes to Bangabandhu by placing a wreath at his mazar around 11:00am. Later, accompanied by Sheikh Rehana, the younger daughter of Bangabandhu, the prime minister offered Fateha and joined a munajat (prayer) seeking eternal peace of departed souls of the Father of the Nation, Bangamata Begum Fazilatunnesa Mujib and others.

Earlier, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina left Dhaka for Gopalganj by a helicopter around 10:00am.
