PM returns home from Austria

Desk Report: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina returned home on Wednesday morning after wrapping up her two-day official visit to Austria to attend a conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
A special Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight carrying the prime minister and her members of the entourage landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport here at 7:20 am.
During the visit to Austria, the prime minister addressed the opening session of the conference titled "Conference on the IAEA Technical Cooperation Programme: 60 years and Beyond- Contributing to Development" on Tuesday.
She also held official talks with Austrian Federal Chancellor Christian Kern and met Austrian Federal President Alexander Van Der Bellen.
Sheikh Hasina had a meeting with IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano at his office.
Bangladesh and Austria signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Foreign Office Consultations (FOC) after the official talks.
On Monday, the prime minister joined a community event followed by an iftar party at Grand Hotel in the Austrian capital.
