PM's directive to deal with post-flood situation

Secretariat Correspondent: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has directed local administration to deal with post-flood situation.

The direction came at a regular cabinet meeting held at the PM’s office on Monday.

Cabinet Secretary Mohammad Shafiul Alam briefed reporters after the meeting.

A fruitful discussion has been held at the cabinet meeting to deal with post-flood situation. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has directed local administration to deal with post-flood situation, Shafiul said quoting the Prime Minister as saying.

The meeting also discussed about the stock of food grains, he said.

The premier apprised the cabinet meeting about the food minister’s Cambodia visit for procuring rice.
