PSG warm up for Celtic clash with 4-1 win over Nantes

Sports Desk: Paris St-Germain warmed up for Wednesday's Champions League clash against Celtic with a 4-1 thumping of Nantes to move six points clear in Ligue 1.

Edinson Cavani struck a double to take him onto 15 goals for the season and Angel di Maria and Javier Pastore also netted to give the megabucks French giants the points in the Parc des Princes.

Kylian Mbappe started on the bench but it didn't take long for Unai Emery's side to take the lead as Cavani - up front with Neymar - struck a low drive past Ciprian Tatarusanu.

Di Maria doubled the lead when his cross deceived Tatarusanu but Nantes hit back through Prejuce Nakoulma with 30 minutes to go.

However Pastore and Cavani struck to secure a comfortable win for PSG who have won 11 and drawn two of their 13 league games this season.

Typically Emery's men dominated the game with 74 per cent of possession and a monster 23 shots on goal.

Celtic, who beat Ross County 1-0 in Dingwall this afternoon, are next up in the Parc des Princes on Wednesday on matchday five of Champions League Group B.
