Pahela Baishakh: Law enforcers ready with foolproof security

Staff Correspondent: Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said law enforcement agencies are ready to face any type of situation on Pahela Baishakh festival. Police and detectives are also working in this connection.

The Home Minister came up with the statement after visiting security measures at  Ramna Batamul on Friday afternoon.

He said, “All units of police including Dog Squad, Bomb Disposal Unit and SWAT will work for the security on Pahela Baishakh. The entire are were brought under Close Circuit cameras.”

“Preparations were taken to prevent any type of unwanted incident. Necessary measures were taken so that people can celebrate the Bangla New Year peacefully. Nobody will be spared who will take law on the hand,” he added.

The Minister also said all the programmes must be ended on the fixed time announced earlier.
