Participating in polls without army deployment risky: Khasru

Senior Reporter: BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury has said that it will be very risky if his party participates in the upcoming national election without deployment of army.

The BNP leader said this while speaking at a discussion marking the BNP Senior Vice Chairman Tarique Rahman’s birthday at the Jatiya Press Club on Friday.

Jatiya Nagorik Sangsad organised the discussion titled ‘Leadership of Next Generation & Tarique Rahman’.

Presided over by Jatiya Nagorik Sangsad President Khaleda Yasmin, the programme was addressed, among others, by BNP Vice Chairman AZM Zahid Hossain, Abdus Salam Azad, Nipun Roy Chowdhury and Abu Naser Mohammad Rahmat Ullah.
