Staff Correspondent: A passenger was held at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Monday midnight with 6.5kg gold worth Tk 3.25 crore.
Dhaka Customs House detained Md Rajib Dewan.
Deputy Commissioner of Dhaka Customs House Ethela Chowdhury confirmed the matter.
A total of 65 gold bars was recovered, she said.
Rajib came to the airport from Singapore by a plane of Singapore Airlines around 11:00pm.
