Sports Desk: Gerard Pique could face a six-month prison sentence after being caught driving without a valid license.
The Barcelona ace was pulled over on Friday afternoon for a routine check and was asked to show his documents, according to reports.
In Spain, a driver is given 12 points on their licence but lose them if they cause traffic offences.
When they get down to zero, the driver is not allowed back on the road until they complete a 24-hour course and pass a test at the Traffic Headquarters.
Radio station Cadena SER claim the officers cross checked the documents and found he had no points on his licence.
That is a criminal offence in Spain and laws state he could face a punishment of six months in prison or a £5370 fine.
