Pirate Alif, Kabiraj bahini surrender

Staff Correspondent, Barisal: Some 25 members of the pirate Alif and Kabiraj bahini have surrendered after submitting their firearms to the Home Minister in Patuakhali.
The surrender programme took place at Patuakhali Shilpakala Academy auditorium around 11:30am on Saturday.
The pirates submitted 31 firearms and 1,110 rounds of bullet.
Of the pirates, 19 were from Alif bahini while other 6 were from Kabiraj bahini.
