Plane crash: Control room opens at Dhaka airport

Staff Correspondent: A temporary control room has been opened at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport to provide necessary assistance to the families of the victims of the US-Bangla Airlines plane crash.
Armed police battalion (APBN) formed the control room with the assistance of civil aviation and airport authority.
Walton group, the country's leading electrical, electronics and home appliances manufacturing and marketing company, is providing support to the control room at Dhaka Airport supplying drinkable water.
The temporary control room was launched at the gate number-7 of airport cargo transport area on March 13. From then, the control room is providing all types of information over the Nepal plane crash victims.
APBN operation commander Sharif Uddin Ahmed told risingbd.com that the latest information over the victims of Nepal plane crash is being given from here. Even, there was a waiting room for the relatives of the victims in airport.
Shahjada Selim, senior additional director of Walton group's statistic ad and beautification division, said it’s a part of our social responsibility. Walton is doing such type of works as a part of corporate social responsibility (CSR).
