Plane crash survivor Kabir to be taken to Singapore

Staff Correspondent: US-Bangla plane crash survivor Kabir Hossain will be shifted to Singapore for better medical treatment.

A medical board of doctors made the decision on Saturday, said Dr Samanta Lal Sen, chief of Dhaka Medical College Hospital’s Burn and Plastic Surgery Unit.

He said that Kabir Hossain would be taken to Singapore tomorrow following the request of his family.

Earlier on Friday night, Kabir was placed on life support after his condition deteriorated.

On March 12, Kabir Hossain and 10 other wounded Bangladeshi nationals had been rescued and taken to Kathmandu hospitals after a US-Bangla Airlines flight crashed.
