Police man arrested in sexual harassment case

A police constable has been arrested in a case filed harassing a college-girl sexually, alluring her with a promise of marriage in Ishwarganj of Mymensingh.

The arrestee was known Ashik Mahmud Pushpo, 22, son of Shahidul Islam of Ramgobindapur village of the upazila.

He was arrested from Madhupur of the upazila on Tuesday afternoon.

Mokhlesur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Ishwarganj Police Station, confirmed the news.

He said a female student of honors on December 15 filed a case against Ashik with the police station over sexual harassment. Since, he was fugitive. Finally, he was arrested on Tuesday using technology.
