Pregnant woman among 3 killed in Rangpur road crash

Staff Correspondent, Rangpur: At least three people, including a pregnant woman, were killed in a road accident on Rangpur-Dinajpur highway in Paglapir area of the district Sadar on Thursday.

The deceased were identified as Moni Begum, Apia Khatun and Ambulance driver Tushar Mia.

Sources said that an ambulance hit a truck from backside when the ambulance driver lost control over the steering in the area around 11:30am, leaving the three people dead on the spot and injured four others.

Later, the injured were sent to Rangpur Medical College Hospital.
