Private TV channel staff killed in city road crash

Staff Correspondent: An employee of Ekattor TV was killed after a bus crushed the motorcycle he was riding on near Jahangir Gate of Dhaka Cantonment on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Anwar Hossain, 40.
Mirpur DMP Zone Assistant Commissioner (AC) Syad Mamun Mostafa said a passenger bus hit the motorcycle around 10:00am in the area, leaving the victim critically injured.
Later, Anwar was taken to Kurmitola General Hospital where doctors declared him dead around 12:40pm.
The bus driver was detained and the bus was seized, Syad Mamun Mostafa said.
