Staff Correspondent: The Chiefs of law enforcing agencies and Intelligence agencies made a proposal to slow down internet speed across the country on polling day of the 11th general election.
Election commission secretary Helaluddin Ahmad said speed will come to normal after 4:00pm on the day for smooth communication.
The EC secretary said this while addressing a programme at Election Training Centre in the city’s Nirbachan Bhaban on Wednesday morning.
He said, “We are working under the leadership of Election Commissioner. It’s a great matter to do election in 300 seats.”
ETI director general Mostafa Faruk presided over the programme where CEC KM Nurul Huda attended as chief guest.
