Punishment demanded over attack on journos

Staff Correspondent: Bangladesh Federal Journalist Association (BFUJ) and Dhaka Union of Journalist (DUJ) condemned the terror attacks on journalists of different media including Jugantor and Jamuna Television at hotel in Nawabganj, the outskirts of Dhaka.

BFUJ president Molla Jalal, general secretary Shaban Mahmud, DUJ president Abu Jafar Surjo and general secretary Sohel Haidar Chowdhury condemned the incident in a joint press statement on Tuesday.

The journalist leaders demanded punishment for culprits in the press statement.

Mentionable, at 10 journalists were injured and 18 vehicles were vandalised in attack carried by unknown miscreants at Nawabganj (Dhaka-1constituency).
