‘Quader is not in a situation to take to Singapore’

Staff Correspondent: “Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader who is now undergoing treatment at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) is not in a situation to take to Singapore at this moment as his physical condition is not stable,” said Prof Syed Ali Ahsan, chairman of the cardiology department of the BSMMU.

The BSMMU chairman said this while talking to reporters on Sunday noon after Quader, also Road Transport and Bridges Minister, was diagnosed with three blockages in his coronary artery.

Syed Ali Ahsan said, “The physical condition of the minister is unstable. Nothing could be said about his overall condition until 24 to 72 hours are gone by. He is not in a situation to take to Singapore right now.”
